The Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union has issued an official warning to the "Ahmat" football club in Grozny for improper use of the stadium's sound system during the match against the "Zenit" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Last Saturday, "Ahmat" secured their first victory of the new season in the Russian Premier League by defeating Saint Petersburg's "Zenit" club 1-0 at home. During this match, the club actively used the stadium's sound system to support the team.
Artur Grigoryants, head of the Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union, stated in an interview with "Match TV" that this was the first violation of the rules this season and therefore the team was only given a warning. The committee noted that if such violations are repeated in the future, more serious measures will be taken.
Thus, although mild measures have been applied to the club for now, it was reminded that the consequences of violating disciplinary rules may be intensified in the future.
