Real Madrid has reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Alvaro Karrera from Lisbon's Benfica. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The player will start playing for Real after the Club World Championship, which will take place in the United States. The terms of Karrera's personal contract were already agreed upon with the Madrid club in June, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year-old defender has openly expressed his desire to move to Real. In the 2024/2025 season, Karrera played a total of 52 matches, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
