Former striker Aleksandr Prudnikov commented on the advantages of St. Petersburg's Zenit team over Moscow's Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, currently Zenit's reserve bench is quite broad and has formed three complete lineups. This allows them to support two teams.
Spartak, however, does not have such an opportunity. Nevertheless, all of this will become clear during the championship, Prudnikov said.
It is worth noting that there are only a few days left until the start of the new season of the Russian Premier League. Spartak will play against Dynamo from Makhachkala in the first round at home.
Zenit, on the other hand, will host the Rostov team, which was positioned in the middle of the standings last season, at home. Thus, the capabilities and strength of the squads of both teams will be tested this season.
