Starting from the new academic year, significant changes are being implemented in the education system of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From now on, unified state exams will be organized for 9th and 11th-grade students. This system allows graduates to be directed towards higher education or vocational training based on their level of knowledge and abilities.
Currently, approximately 400 thousand 9th-grade graduates are covered by the system of technical and vocational colleges. The results of the final exams at school provide graduates with the opportunity to enter higher education institutions.
This helps young people to continue their studies at school while gaining in-depth knowledge in subjects. As a result, they will have broader access to new fields and specialties at universities.
In short, graduates can easily enter technical or vocational colleges as well as higher education institutions based on their final exam results at school. This, in turn, increases young people's interest in education and helps them develop as qualified specialists.
With the introduction of the new system, every young person can choose an educational direction according to their potential and desires, which will enhance competition within the education system. Additionally, teachers and school administrators will have the opportunity to accurately assess young people's capabilities and guide them correctly.
These changes serve to improve the quality of education and develop the professional and academic potential of young people. Source: zamin.uz
