
In the 21st century, the internet has become an integral part of not only adults' but also children's lives. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the results of a survey conducted by the "Yuksalish" movement, most children do not spend excessive time on the internet. Among the children who participated in the survey, 36 percent spend up to one hour a day online, and 31 percent spend from one to three hours on the internet.
Additionally, 11 percent spend from four to six hours, and 7 percent spend more than six hours online. The main purpose of internet use is education, with 64 percent of children stating that they access the internet for studying.
Furthermore, watching videos accounts for 16 percent, while playing games and using social networks are noted at around 12 percent each. Ten percent of parents reported giving their children phones to avoid disturbing them.
As for internet-related problems, parents indicated wasting too much time (35 percent), negative effects on health and sleep disturbances (30 percent), as well as internet addiction and inappropriate content (14 percent). At the same time, 25 percent of respondents stated that their children have no problems related to internet use.
