In Uzbekistan, the state will provide compensation to cover the costs of attending private kindergartens for children from low-income families. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was clearly defined in a new regulation registered at the Ministry of Justice on October 23, 2025. According to the new system, the state allocates funds amounting to 40 percent of the daily fee for nine hours in state kindergartens to cover the expenses of private kindergartens for low-income families.
These funds will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the kindergartens. The list of families eligible for compensation will be automatically generated through a special information system, which makes the process fast and transparent.
Additionally, private kindergartens may allocate places for children from low-income families up to 15 percent of their admission quota based on a contract with the state. According to experts, the new system will not only strengthen social support but also help increase the number of children in private kindergartens.
This arrangement serves to expand educational opportunities for children from low-income families in the country and strengthen their social protection (source: Zamin.uz).
