Uzbekistan military participates in the Victory parade in Moscow
Uzbekistan military personnel will participate in the ceremonial military parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, which will take place in Moscow on May 9, 2025, as reported by upl.uz.

According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, military delegations from 12 other countries, along with Uzbekistan, will also be involved in the parade. Among them are military forces from Central and Southeast Asian countries.

Ushakov also clearly stated that North Korean military personnel will not participate in this event.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had appealed to other countries, urging them not to send their military to the parade in Moscow. They believe that especially countries that have declared themselves neutral or pursue a neutral policy on the international stage should stay away from such events.

According to the statement from the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participation in such events violates the principle of neutrality. However, despite this, Uzbekistan and several other countries remain firm in their decision to participate in the parade.
