
A group of protesters in Tbilisi broke down the wall of the Georgian President Mikheil Kavlashvili's headquarters and entered the premises. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to TV Pirveli, this action by the demonstrators caused a tense situation around the headquarters. It was reported that pyrotechnic devices resembling explosions were used at the scene.
Clashes between the guards protecting the headquarters and the protesters lasted for a long time. The protesters complicated the situation further by throwing stones at the police and using pyrotechnic devices.
This posed a risk of gunfire and injuries. Rapid response joint forces arrived at the scene and many individuals were detained.
Police officers were forced to use pepper spray and water cannons to calm the protesters. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs declared the protest illegal and stated that legal measures would be taken.
The government announced that investigations would be launched to examine the causes of the clashes and to determine criminal liability. Additionally, efforts are underway to strengthen security in the city and to implement additional protective measures for state facilities.
