The US warned Iran against approaching its warships

Political and military tensions between Iran and the United States have reached their highest point, according to Zamin.uz.
Iran’s naval forces warned that if U.S. naval units approach the country’s territorial waters, it would lead to serious consequences for them. The statement comes amid reports that recent U.S. strikes, Tehran’s harsh rhetoric, and the suspension of previous negotiations have weakened earlier agreements.
Deputy Commander of Iran’s Navy, Rear Admiral Habibullah Sayyari, issued a serious warning to the U.S. government, stating that if enemy forces attempt to land on Iran’s shores, they would have no chance to retreat.
Sayyari emphasized that any attempt by the enemy to violate Iran’s territorial borders would result in devastating strikes from which they could not escape.
At the same time, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the U.S.’s repeated military strikes and the decision to revoke licenses restricting Tehran’s oil sales.
Officials at the ministry said such actions undermine the effectiveness of the memorandum aimed at halting military operations. Tehran’s administration accused the U.S. Treasury Department’s decision of blatantly violating international norms and placed full responsibility for escalating tensions in the region on Washington.
According to reports, U.S. forces have carried out a new series of strikes against Iran. U.S. Central Command stated that these strikes were a response to threats against Iranian commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that precise strikes were carried out on more than 80 military targets, which could further destabilize the military balance in the region.
U.S. President Donald Trump also expressed his position, stating that the agreement to halt uranium enrichment with Iran is no longer being implemented. He considers current negotiations pointless and supports a tougher stance toward Iran’s leadership.
This approach suggests that diplomatic relations between the two countries are nearing a complete breakdown.
Amid the worsening situation, Russia has signaled its readiness to mediate.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said he could contribute to easing tensions in Moscow and preventing the situation from spiraling out of control during talks with the U.S. envoy.
Every new military move and statement around the Strait of Hormuz brings the Middle East closer to a more dangerous phase.
The next steps in the U.S.–Iran standoff remain under close watch by the international community.
