He openly admitted this decision and stated that MLS was not his first choice. In his interview, Son Heung-min said: “To be honest, this was not my first choice.
However, I received the first offer from MLS right after the season ended. I came here not just to improve my statistics, but to win.
I will do everything I can,” foreign sources quote him as saying. Previously, Son Heung-min played for many years with the London-based team “Tottenham.”
