Zabarnıy and Safonov will be teammates in Paris Saint-Germain
Russian and Ukrainian national team football players – goalkeeper Matvey Safonov and defender Ilya Zabarnıy – will soon start playing together in the same team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to reports from national and international sports media, Ilya Zabarnıy will sign a five-year contract with the famous French football club Paris Saint-Germain. This agreement will be valid until the middle of 2030.
According to information, an agreement has been reached between England's Bournemouth club and Paris Saint-Germain regarding the purchase of the player. The total value of the transfer amounts to 67 million euros.
The 22-year-old defender Ilya Zabarnıy will undergo a medical examination before the UEFA Super Cup match. It is worth noting that Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov has been playing for Paris Saint-Germain for over a year.
He has won four trophies with the team, including the Champions League trophy. Thus, Safonov and Zabarnıy will soon continue their careers in the same team.
