Vyacheslav Koloskov, the honorary president of the Russian Football Union, expressed his opinion about the problems of the "Zenit" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that he does not understand why the performance of the "Zenit" team is currently unreliable, as there are high-level players in the squad. According to Koloskov, the main problem of the team may lie not in the training process, but in management.
He stated that this issue needs to be resolved by the coaching staff. Currently, "Zenit" has played four matches in the Russian championship, accumulating five points and is in eighth place in the tournament table.
In the next, fifth round, the team will face Moscow's "Spartak" club under the leadership of Sergey Semak. According to the specialist, although "Zenit" has strong players, the results are not as expected.
For this reason, special attention should be paid to management issues within the team. Koloskov emphasized that the coaches and management need to address this problem promptly.
