Former CSKA player Aleksandr Grishin expressed his opinion on the possible dismissal of Zenit head coach Sergey Semak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist noted that Semak is considered one of the best coaches in Russia, as he has won numerous trophies. However, currently, Zenit is not fully utilizing its potential.
According to Grishin, the team lacks speed in their game, and their actions are progressing in a very academic manner. For this reason, they are even unable to score against the "Akhmat" goal.
The specialist believes that if the team cannot demonstrate its game, it is not only a problem for the coach but also for the players. Currently, Zenit is in eighth place in the Russian Premier League standings.
After four rounds, the team has only accumulated five points. These results are causing concern among the club's fans and management.
Throughout the season, both the coach and the players must act responsibly for Zenit to improve its game and achieve better results.
