Unplanted lands will be handed over to others

It was reported by uz24 that if crops are not planted on rented land, the land will be given to others.

If crops are not planted on household or rented land, these lands will be given for secondary rental. In particular, exemplary projects for growing export-oriented products will be implemented in areas exceeding 40 hectares. The remaining lands will be handed over to active entrepreneurs.

How are such lands identified?

The use of lands is monitored by the "Mahalla Committee" and mahalla banks. Unplanted household lands are included in the "Online Mahalla" platform. In this case:

The tax for the land is increased threefold
Benefits and loans are temporarily suspended

This procedure serves to encourage the rational use of land resources.
