A new technical university — Tashkent Tech will be established in Uzbekistan, Kursiv.media reported. This was announced by the President's assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva.
According to her, the university is aimed at training a new generation of engineers and will meet the highest international standards.
Tashkent Tech will be established on the basis of the Tashkent State Technical University. The Boston Consulting Group will assist in the establishment of the university.
As Mirziyoyeva emphasized, this higher education institution will serve the technological sovereignty and development of the industry in Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that the initiative to open Tashkent Tech university was promoted by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
