
Russia's "Azimut" airline plans to launch direct flights from Rostov-Don to Termez. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Flights on this route are expected to operate up to seven times a week. This was reported by the RBK publication citing data from "Rosaviatsiya".
Additionally, the airline plans to operate up to seven weekly flights from Rostov to Dushanbe and Khujand in Tajikistan. Flights to Jordan and Oman are also planned among long-haul international routes.
Currently, "Azimut" airline regularly operates flights to Tashkent and Samarkand in Uzbekistan. According to data from the National Statistics Committee, by the beginning of November 2025, 852 thousand Russians had visited Uzbekistan.
In the past ten months of this year, a total of 9.7 million foreigners arrived in the country, which is 50 percent more compared to last year.
