In New Zealand, dolphins saved a family from a giant great white shark attack. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
British swimmer Rob Hoy encountered an astonishing event while swimming with his daughter off the coast of New Zealand's North Island. What started as a simple swim quickly turned into an exciting rescue incident.
Suddenly, a pod of dolphins appeared, surrounding the father and daughter in a circular formation and began driving them toward the center. Rob tried several times to break out of this circle, but the dolphins pushed him back inside.
They seemed to be protecting them from an invisible danger. Soon, the true cause of the threat became clear: a giant great white shark was approaching the area.
The dolphins' behavior changed sharply as they began working together to scare off and drive away the shark. By slapping the water with their tails, they fiercely fought against the shark.
The dolphins protected Rob and his daughter safely for nearly forty minutes. They did not allow the people to reach the shore until the shark left the area.
Only after the danger was eliminated did the dolphins open the circle, allowing the father and daughter to reach a safe place. This event was witnessed by rescuers and bystanders on the shore.
This incident became another remarkable example of dolphins' ability to protect humans. The dolphins' actions once again proved their intelligence and extraordinary kindness toward people.
