Is Russia targeting Ukrainian drones with Chinese lasers?
The military confrontation between Ukraine and Russia is increasingly taking on the form of a technological war. Recently, videos circulating on social media have shown the Russian army using modern laser devices created by Chinese manufacturers.

This device is called "Silent Hunter" and is designed to detect, track, and destroy low-flying objects, including drones. The system is installed on the roof of specialized military vehicles and is operated by an operator inside the vehicle.

This laser device can detect enemy unmanned devices from a distance of 4.98 kilometers. It has the capability to disable the surveillance and navigation systems of drones at a distance of 3.2 kilometers and completely destroy them at a distance of 1.6 kilometers.

Experts emphasize that this device has a power of 30 kilowatts and can penetrate a steel plate located 1000 meters away and 5 millimeters thick in eight seconds.

The video released by Russia shows the laser device targeting drones, accurately tracking their flight trajectory, and then destroying them in an instant. The video also notes that the laser device targeted Ukrainian drones of the Shedrik and Skywalker X8 models.

Military experts believe that this device is one of the most significant and high-tech devices Russia has received from China since the large-scale war against Ukraine began.

This situation is causing various debates among international observers. On one hand, these devices could strengthen Russia's defense system, while on the other hand, it is not unlikely that it could intensify discussions about China's involvement in this conflict.

So far, the official Chinese side has not commented on this situation. However, experts predict that this technological cooperation will generate significant interest in the international community. Currently, the use of high-tech weapons in this conflict is elevating the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine to a new level, which could lead to further complications in the situation
