To run, I used to wear a rolled-up plastic bag for practice. The only thing that could change my life was sport.
Sport gave me strength and changed my destiny." According to her, she was born into a simple working-class family and grew up through hard work. "My parents always said: 'If you get a scholarship, we will support your studies.'
Sport helped me not only to get a scholarship but also to go abroad and set big goals in life," says the athlete. Diyora sent the following inspiring words to all women and girls in her speech: "You may have limited financial means in your life, but the strength inside you is immense.
