Vadim Rakov, a forward for the "Wings of the Soviets" football club in Samara, has announced that he is ready for a call-up to the Russian national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He is currently playing on loan at the Samara team, with the player's transfer rights belonging to Moscow's "Lokomotiv" club. Vadim Rakov managed to score two goals in the first two rounds of the 2025/2026 Russian Premier League season.

Vadim Rakov's loan agreement with the "Wings of the Soviets" club is valid until June 30, 2026. His transfer value is estimated at 1.2 million euros.
