
On the evening of November 14, a powerful explosion occurred at a police station located in the Novgama area of Jammu and Kashmir. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to NDTV, as a result of this incident, 9 civilians lost their lives, and 29 people were taken to the hospital with various injuries. It was reported that the explosion happened during the examination of explosives seized by the police and experts.
The injured were admitted to the Indian Army's 92 Hospital and the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. Most of those killed were police officers and forensic experts.
Additionally, two representatives of the Srinagar administration were also reported dead. Prior to the explosion, the police had found materials belonging to the "Jaish-e-Mohammed" group, conducted an investigation, and seized a large quantity of explosives.
Several individuals associated with this group have been arrested. The situation in the region has been escalating in recent days.
Recently, a car explosion in Delhi resulted in 8 deaths and 24 injuries. Also, at least 12 people were killed in a vehicle attack in Islamabad.
Such incidents are further intensifying security concerns in the region.
