Famous Russian coach Valery Gazzaev commented on the situation regarding former CSKA team coach Marko Nikolich during the summer break. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, in June, Nikolich left the position of head coach of CSKA and started working as the head coach of the Greek club AEK. Gazzaev emphasized that Nikolich left a good legacy in the team and there should be no criticism against him.
However, he unexpectedly put the management in a difficult situation, forcing them to look for a new coach at the beginning of the championship. For the Russian specialist, the departure of the Serbian coach was an unexpected event.
During Nikolich's time, CSKA won bronze medals in the Premier League and the team became the winner of the Russian Cup. After his departure, Fabio Celestini was appointed as the head coach of the team.
It was noted that these changes could affect the future results of the CSKA team.
