
Special video cameras will be installed in all general education schools in Tashkent city to monitor students of the 10th and 11th grades. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced in a decree adopted by the city mayor Shavkat Umurzoqov on August 29. According to the decree, the “Smart School” electronic system will initially be introduced on a trial basis in the Olmazor district.
Within the framework of this system, 250 classes in 31 schools will operate under the new arrangement. With the help of special cameras, students of the 10th and 11th grades will be constantly monitored during the educational process.
In addition, students’ attendance and mental state will be analyzed through artificial intelligence. Furthermore, students’ interest in subjects as well as teachers’ professional qualifications will be evaluated.
This project will be funded from the local budget. These measures are aimed at improving the quality of education and strengthening the monitoring system in the upper grades of schools in Tashkent city.
