US President Donald Trump advised Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the war in Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that Moscow should think about ensuring peace instead of testing new nuclear weapons. Trump expressed this opinion during a conversation with journalists on board a plane on October 27.
According to Trump, the US has a nuclear submarine near Russian shores, which is considered sufficient power to ensure the country's security. He said: “They know we have the most powerful nuclear submarine in the world.
Therefore, there is no need to fly 8,000 miles.” Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the other hand, announced a day earlier that a nuclear-powered missile had been successfully tested.
According to Kremlin information, this weapon is capable of bypassing any defense system, and the missiles covered a distance of 14,000 kilometers. Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, in response to Trump's remarks, emphasized that Russia will continue to protect its national interests.
According to him, the new weapons are necessary to ensure the country's security and should not negatively affect relations with Washington. Donald Trump criticized Russia for prolonging the war and warned that new sanctions might be imposed if peace is not established.
He said: “The war that was supposed to end within a week has now entered its fourth year. Putin should try peace, not missiles.”
