A new convenient system for labor migration will be introduced
A new system based on the "single window" principle is being introduced in Uzbekistan to regulate labor migration and simplify services. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The issue was discussed during a presentation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 18. The system is aimed at making labor migration services more convenient and efficient.
During the presentation, it was noted that despite the decrease in the number of Uzbeks working abroad, the volume of remittances sent by them amounted to 15.8 billion dollars in the first ten months of 2025. At the same time, a number of measures have been planned to develop the labor market and improve services.
In particular, 25 online services are currently provided through the "Work Abroad" platform, used by more than 520 thousand citizens. In the future, new features such as biometric identification, artificial intelligence, real-time monitoring of job vacancies, and remote consultations are planned to be introduced on the platform.
Additionally, it is planned to establish a 24-hour situation center within the Migration Agency. Measures to combat illegal migration and fraud will also be strengthened.
Specifically, it is proposed to install information terminals at airports, increase fines, and consider liability for assisting illegal exit. The President approved these proposals and gave instructions to ensure their prompt implementation.
